In Carmel California.
Seal Lion Point Trail 10
Some people think this rock looks like a crocodile! I guess it does! :-)
Point Lobos South Shore Trail
Sun Rays Peeping Through the Woods in Point Lobos East Grove Trail (black and white)
Yellow filter with fill flash to balance the scene.
Seal Lion Point Trail 5
Point Lobos South Shore Trail 3a
A Portrait of Tree Off the Coast at Point Lobos
Don't remember which trail, but probably Cypress Grove Trail. Post-processed to enhance detail, and added a subtle vignette to make the tree bark glow. Yellow filter effect.
A Rock Off Cypress Grove Trail in Point Lobos 2
Some Rocks Off Head Land Cove
Originally intended for black and white, but found out the color version is pretty good also.
Point Lobos South Shore Trail 6
An opening where the wave flowed in and receded. I opted for the low contrast look for this particular scene.
Good Old Friends on a Rock
A friend suggested the name for this photo. I like it. Yes, those trees do look like friends.
People on Sea Lion Point
Shot from Cypress Grove Trail acrossed it, I happened to spot some people who were taking photos.
The Sign of Volcano (2nd version)
This version shows higher contrast. The horizon with cloud looming has a special feeling.
Maybe It's a Sea Sponge
Or a sea anemone, don't know for sure. Not really good at id this. It'll shrink when touched. :-)
Lone Cypress Tree at Point Lobos 2
Converted into black and white, cropped to 8x10 to eliminate some unwanted elements. This one was shot on a tripod, I believe. Shot around sunset.
The Sign of Volcano (3rd version reprocessed)
The third reshoot of this abstract juxtaposition of off-coast isle with a tree branch. It is different from the previous version.
